Default rough / low idle (94' EX, D16Z6)

Symptoms:
---------------
Rough / Low Idle (RPMs barely register on tachometer) AFTER car is warmed up. Car occasionally stalls out completely and is a little tough to restart.

Background:
---------------
Car has 250,xxx miles, D16Z6, brand new head gasket. Car was sitting for 3 months with a half-tank of gas. I filled up the tank after I got it running with V-Power 93 + HEET Anti-Water.

Any ideas? Bad IACV?

When is the last time you have given your car a tune-up? spark plugs, plug wires, dist cap rotor, pcv valve?

Any codes? Diagnostic codes that is. They serve a purpose you know. There could be 20 different problems going on with your cars. To figure it out you have to narrow it down to a specific circuit or area. I think there is helpful knowledge in the FAQ's on idling problems. I have seen throttle position sensor plugs with loose connections, carbon buldup in the throttlebody, low battery voltage, IACV problems are common too. i could go on and on.

make sure your o2 sensor is plugged in and there are no shorts or melts in the wire, i have a 98 dx with a z6 running a p28 ecu in it and somehow in the swap i hooked up the o2 sensors backwards ( obd2a has 2 o2 sensor reads and obd1 has 1 ) i had just done timing belt and water pump and head gasket so i knew my work was good , but it ran like crap in the morning . after it warmed up it seemed ok but ran rich , NEVER GOT A CEL !!! the header i have has 2 o2 ports so i decieded just to keep them both in , i switched the plugs and bam my problem went away , also make sure your not arching from the back of your spark plug wires , ive seen that happen!
