h22 to h23 tranny swap question??????....HELP ME
k i swapped to a h23 tranny last weekend....well at first the check engine light but that was cuz in the process of swapping trannys i broke the oil pressure switch.....so i was only red lining at 6500 when im suppose to redline at about 8000 r 8500.....well i changed the OIL PRESSURE SWITCH and check engine light went off and the next day i was able to reline at 8200 rpms....i LOVEEEE itt....but today i changed the metal clutch line that goes from tranny to slave cylinder cuz the fitting on the new tranny i put was leaking....well i had to disconnect the battery....and once we finished and i started it....the check engine light is BACK ON and i redline at 6500 AGAIN....is it possibly because removing the battery reset my ECU?....cuz all i did was change that clutch line....that shouldnt cause the check engine light to come on.....WHAT IS IT?
I dont understand how are you redlining on an h22 at 6500. Thats the redline for h23, unless that the tranny itself can only handle at 6500 RPMS IDK. Are you blinking a code, and what ECU are you using.
