Can i run my stock rad with a B18B swap? Will I have to worry about cooling issues? Any help would be great

I've been running the stock Civic radiator on my GS-R swap for a year with no problems. I just put two clamps where the hose connects to the radiator because the Integra hoses are a bit bigger than the Civic ones.

I ran my wife's B16A2 1992 Si hatch on the stock Civic radiator for 5 years with zero cooling issues ever.

And JKov240 is right - yu'll be running Integra radiator hoses, which are larger diameter than the civic radiator outlets, so buy screw-type hose clamps to tighten the hoses onto the smaller Civic rad. outlets.

if you got the money than buy a proper aluminum rad you can score a decent one on ebay for around 150 bucks bolts right on no issues with it being bigger than stock, but now you have a peice of mind knowing your rad is new and has extra capacity and that is always a good thing, makesure you change water pump and thermostat it would be a shame to mess your engine up cause some dumb part failed

bigger radiator means better cooling capabilities it cools off the engine faster than stock and has more cooling capabilities than a cooper rad becuse it stays at 160 cooper does not have as good of cooling capabilitys stays at 180 and the added bonus if you ever leaked coolant from a honda it dissapears quickly cause of the small rad so if you do leak you have more time before it becomes a big problem! and it looks really sharp

When I put my B18B into my 97 CX, the stock radiator inlet/outlets were 1/8" too small for the stock B-series hoses. I switched to a Del Sol VTEC radiator (same radiator as a 99-00 Civic Si), and it has the proper inlet/outlet size. It's also a dual-core.
