we just installed a JDM D15b vtec distributor from hmotorsonline in a vx hatchback.

car wouldn't strat and it turned out to be the distributor is bad. i got the coil and ignitor from an obd2 distributor and put them in the obd1 distributor, but that still didn't work.

question: can i use a non vtec obd1 distributor? if i'm correct, i'm guessing it would start the car, not all the whole will line up and it will more than likely be off ignition timing.. is that right?
