my engine oil is coming out black and watery!! help!
My engine oil is coming out black and watery. I bought my b20b from a local junkyard and after two weeks of running there are oil splotches in the radiator. I flushed the coolant but same problem. The engine oil checks out as black and watery. After driving the car for about a week my oil level would go down half way between the dipstick dots. Could it be the head gasket? If i change the head gasket would it solve the problem of why my engine losing oil? The car doesn't smoke or anything if it matters.
You DO NOT want to do any driving if you have water in the oil. Oil floats on top of water. That means, down at your oil pickup, the first thing is sucks up is water = bye bye bearings.
And hope that it didn't overheat, cause if it did like i think the head might warp.
hate to say it, but you got ripped off for a b20 unless you have one em 30 day warranties most junkyards give.
