1994 Honda Accord EX with leather
166,xxx miles
5 speed manual transmission
Asking $1800 or best offer
Oil changed every 3 months or 4000 miles with Valvoline 5W-30 oil, car does not burn any oil between changes.
The car was purchased 4/27/03 from the original owners in Beckley, WV with 114,314 miles on the odometer.
Timing belt, water pump, rotor cap, button were replaced at 123,650 miles
Left front axle was replaced at 123,950 miles
Clutch was replaced at 130,058 miles
Right front axle was replaced at 132,600 miles
Brakes were replaced (pads) at 139,231 with Bendex mid grade pads from Advance Auto.
New plugs and wires were installed at 139,411 miles
Car was aligned at 149,749 miles
Starter was replaced at 161,240 miles
The bad:
The body is rough, there is some rust on the right rear quarter panel. The doors do not line up on the passenger side.
There is an intermittent ABS problem were the ABS does not work. This is a very early 94 model and these had ABS pump over run problems. Its not worth fixing.
The speedometer does not work intermittently, there is a loose connection somewhere behind the cluster.
The tires will need replaced, they are pretty worn.
The good:
The car is extremely reliable, its been a good commuter car for the last 5 years and I have just grown tired of it. The interior is in very good shape for a 14 year old car. There are a couple of scuffs in the door panels here are there.
CarFax yields 2 incidents - first in 2003 where an old man backed into the car. It did no damage to the car except to crack the paint, the only reason it was pursued and was reported on CarFax was because he refused to provide insurance information and took off when I asked him for information. The second is earlier this year when the car was hit head on, it needed a new bumper and headlight as a result. The core support was not damaged and neither was the bumper support.
Also, the car passed PA emissions and is registered and titled in PA.
Pictures... better ones coming later. Car is a little dirty on the outside, haven't had a chance to wash it in a few weeks due to inclement weather/work but its usually very clean. I may paint the bumper before I sell it.
