Tein RE Coilover for EK Civic 96-00 Honda Challenge H1 custom spec
I'm selling my Tein RE coilovers that I've been using on my Honda Challenge H1 car. These are for any 96-00 Honda Civic.
The shocks were refreshed a couple years ago and I had Tein revalve and shorten and the rears. They have about 12 race weekends on them since the rebuild. The spring rates are 14kg/mm front and 20kg/mm rear. These worked great on my car and have helped me get 2 H1 class track records and 3rd at NASA Nationals. These would be great for anyone looking to have a track proven suspension for a good price. Not recommend for street use! They retail for about $1900 and I paid $600 for the rebuild and revalve.
"TEIN Type RE is like the Type RA, but with an added full-length adjustment system.
Ride height is adjustable without changing the preload of spring. This is the special feature of the full-length adjustment system due to threads on the lower bracket. The Type RE has a wide range for setting the stroke and length of the shock. It is possible to set up this suspension for various road, weather, or track conditions while maintaining optimal suspension stroke.
-Mono-tube design for maximum performance.
-Full-length adjustment and height adjustment for separate setting of the height and spring preload.
-16 levels of damping force adjustment (compression and rebound together).
*Available for overhaul."
