Cardboard

The ultimate in light weight, but visibility is not so good... Bixenon retrofit (with duct tape retaining mechanism) is it the final stages of R&D:

They're still in prototype stage, trying to determine if the umbrella design is more aero efficient.

You need JDM cardboard. It's 3 ply vs. the USDM 2 ply. Much stronger at little weight gain.
