Default Water-Leak Del Sol

I currently own a 94' Honda Del Sol SI.

Recently I noticed that, after a car wash, there would be a puddle of water present on the passenger side floor. To see where the water is coming from I asked a friend to spray water around that general area while I sat inside. It looks to be leaking from the heater blower unit underneath the passenger side dash; fast dripping and at times I noticed a stream of water leaking for a second or two.

Did a search on HT and Google but could not find anything on the subject. So any ideas for remedies to the current situation would be greatly appreciated.

TIA from the guy with the 'Murphy's Law' Del Sol.

Are you sure your targa top isn't leaking?

sounds like the targa top is leaking which is a common problem on del sols....being that it only happens after you wash your car or your friend sprays it with water i won't say it's the heater core.

I am positive. When I asked my friend to run water on my car it was only on the front windshield on the passenger side corner, water did not touch my roof during this process.
