for starters...only use "Honda ATF Z-1" tranny fluid.

make sure the engine is slightly warm and not cold. the drain plug is located behind the passenger side wheel. you can use a socket wrench to remove it, i dont recall what size but its pretty standard size. make sure you let the fluid drain out till there is slight trickles of it, you wont be able to get all the tranny fluid out cause this is not a flush, but you get most of it out, once you are ready to put in the fresh new "Honda ATF" all you need is about 3 to 4 MAX bottles Honda ATF, once you have put in the first full bottle, turn on the car and keep gear in neutral and continue to add the other bottles in once all in put back the dip-stic, then put your gears through a cycle for about a minuet. go from R to D to N to D3 to D2...etc then what i do just to make me feel better, i go for a 5 minuet drive around to let the fluid heat up nice...hehe

its like changing the oil minus the oil filter...
its recommended by many to do this drain & fill once a year, some even do it when the season gets cold & warm..(for those who live in those climates).
Good Luck and always take care of that Honda PLEASE...
