Default N/A B18 GSR in an EG.

ok, so ive decided to go with a GSR swap in my hatchie. im getting the motor from hmotorsonline.com. my question is i wnat to throw some pistons in it to bump the compression.
1: will CTR or ITR pistons give it a good bump in compression, or go with JE 11:5.1's or 12:5.1.
2: which rod to piston combe would be est OEM or aftermarket.
3: im thinking of skunk 2 stage 2 cams and full vavletrain.
along with fuel upgrades and a tuned hondata ecu will this motor work. for fairly cheap, doing pistons/rods/cams= 12.5.1 compression N/A screamer !!!!!!
if not what would be a good N/a build on gsr block/gsr tranny w/ LSD.

yea you can do it but its not going to be cheap. if ur gonna build the bottom end and throw a set of cams and valve train into the head than u might as well get a port. the port is going to determine where u stop making power.

i have a gsr bottom end with je 12.5:1 pistons and eagle h-beams.
if your gonna go aftermarket for the bottom end try to get some carillo rods cause there nice and light for all motor. the eagle h-beams are cheap and heavy.

I would go with an aftermarket forged piston/rod combo...if Hondas have a weak point it's in the rods (I've seen too many customers overrev their stock Hondas accidentally and snap rods in two)

I'm a fan of JE pistons...but if it's a street car (daily driven) then I'd go with JE's more streetable (and less expensive) SRP pistons
