2000 Accord inspection problem from engine swap
Hello everyone! I am new to this forum. I know basically nothing about hondas, or any car for that matter, so I am lookign for some genuine input on my problem. I hope someone can help... Long story short, my husband blew the engine in my 2000 honda accord coupe. I had it replaced for 4000 bucks last march. Inspection time is here and all of a sudden the check engine light is on and the place I took it to get inspected is saying it won't pass b/c the sensors dont match the engine and theres nothing I can do... This sounds crazy to me. I spent a fortune to get a new engine, and its still under warranty, but the mechanic who put it in is in New Jersey and can't do NYS inspections. Has anyone heard of this happening and is there any suggestions as to what I can or should do to get this inspected??? Thanks in advance for all help.

get the VIN off of the new engine and we can tell you what you need to do to make it work
ALL F23 from accord are interchageable
ALL F23 from accord are interchageable
Im pretty sure the ULEV f23a4 and non-ULEV f23a1 use different ecus. I know for a fact that the primary O2 pin is in a different spot on each harness. Do we even know that this is an f23? Or is it a v6 J30?
