Default HOW MUCH HP CAN I GET FROM A D16Z6 MOTOR

i have a d16z6 motor single vtech...how much hp can i get out of it? wat would i have to do? i wanna get the max out of it

You'll probably pull about 105-110 at the wheels good condition assumed, it's rated at 125 at the flywheel from the factory.

To get the max out of it on stock internals for a good price you have to boost.

Anything less is <FONT SIZE="5">INADEQUATE!!</FONT>

Go for boost if you're gonna stick with a d series, they are a strong motor to start with.

The most I've heard of is 586whp, and that wasn't anywhere near cheap...

I guess your waiting for rota or I to check in.

we had 586whp, 680 estimated crank hp.

You need to decide what is doable for you. It took us a lot of money to get it right.

You'll need about $12,000.00 could be more. But we have the knowledge to do it right the 3rd time. Took us a couple of try's 2 blocks, 3 set's of pistons. 3 cams, heads turbo's, 2 custom exhaust manifolds...
