Help needed......
So as many of you know (or at least saw the pics, but may not know my sn), I had an S2K and got t-boned (not my fault) and had some pretty treatment in the hospitals (my health insurance has had close to 90k to cover the expenses). In February I am going to be allowed to drive again, the state of VA requires certain people with serious trauma to be seizure free for 6 months, and am having trouble acquiring an S2000.
Now the problem is that although I owned the car, my dad's name was also in the title so I could be listed under his insurance and only have to pay $530 every 6 months. Because of this the money from the insurance is going straight to my dad, and my parents want me to get a car with more airbags.
I really want to get an S2000 again, so I need to prove (the truth can be slightly bent) that the S2000 is as safe as say a IS300 or G35.
In case someone can't come up with how S2000 is as safe, I also want to have opinions on my other choice of cars (in no particular order):
1999-2000 BMW M Coupe
2003 Infiniti G35
2002-2004 Lexus IS300
2000-2001 Audi S4
2007 Honda Civic Si Sedan
And a pic of my car for reading all my **** above:

The S2000 is just as safe as those other cars. There's really no way of predicting what will happen. Where you get hit, what hit you, speed, angle, yada yada yada always plays a huge roll in everything. It's just luck of the draw.
I've read stories of people flipping the S and walking out with a couple bruises, same with people slamming into the guardrail.

* m coupe? not as common, would rather have an m3
*g35? nice...but still not too fond of nissan
*is300? too common..i'd pass...plus i think the bodystole is outdated...new ones are nice tho
*s4? vw...no thanks..
*SI sedan? only if you were to get the mugen one
personally i'd be looking for a 2002 m3, a benz clk430 amg, the g35, or even the new accord coupe v6 6spd...
test drive what you like and compare...what about an evo?

Well unfortunately I have a max of 15k, so my options do not extend to a new IS350 or 2002 M3, even the Mugen Si will be way out of the price range.
The S60R is interesting, but I am pretty sure that it is not in the price range.
Evos are too common where I live, and all those people ever want to do is drag race.
An STI is out of price range, but a basic WRX isn't. The only problem is the engine is a bitch too work on.
My ratings on the options so far is as follows:
IS300
G35
Si Sedan
WRX
S4
M Coupe
Give me your input...

x2
i wouldnt get an evo or a sti because they are common as ****, over priced, and if you get a is300 you will most likely want a stick and they are hard as **** to find (i looked for one before i got my s).
no matter what car you buy, getting hit at 70 by an suv in the side is going to mess u up. i would go for another s personally
. besides there is a recent post on here talking about how safe the car is.

I would get another ap1 but in berlina black. but sinse you cant do that yet i would pick the m coupe out of your list. i allways loved how they looked plus you can fit some wide *** wheels in the back.
how do you prove one car is safer than another. you didn't die, therefore the car is safe enough to protect you. if you have to prove to someone that a car that goes through the same safety test as all the others, then look up the test results and show them that.
check this site out, the s2000 is actually rated pretty damn safe
