Hey guys and gall's, i was wondering, i've been looking to buy an aftermarket intake manifold on ebay but when i go to look, every one is saying **** like "will fit all 88-00 civic" (skunk 2 for e.x.) and i know for a fact that the y8 is a bit longer than the z6 (on the mounting side) d16a6,d16z6, and d16y8, thats what skunk2 claims that their manifold will fit....... Any opions guys??

 

All USDM 16-valve D-Series intake manifolds (with the exception of the D16A1) with bolt up to any USDM 16-valve D-Series engine (with the exception of the D16A1).

really, because i bought a hondata intake manifold gasket that was for a d16z6 (for my fren) and he didnt want it so when i tried to put it on my car, it would not fit at all so my point is, if the gasket wont fit on my y8 intake mani. studs, tahn how would the manifold bolt up? is their any mods i need to do???

 

Your friend must have sold you the wrong gasket. People rock Y8 IM's on Z6's all day long.
