Corbeau 3 pt harness's safe?
I was looking at the 3 pt harness for my 92 GSR. I have stock seats and no rollbar/cage. I have seen several post saying that its unsafe to use harnesses without a rollbar. I know not to mount the back mount to the floor. what I was looking at was using the rear seat shoulder mount which would be about 90 degrees. I will drive this car on the street but here & there I will go to an autox.
I don't understand why it would be any more unsafe in a rollover to have harness's instead of my power oem's.

Ok so they hold you in the seat too well in a roll over if you don't have a roll bar.
Thanks manveer
So if I had a single roll bar could I still mount the harness's the way I want too or is that a bad idea?

plus its said that a Y design is not safe enough to hold the whole body in the event of an accident. but if you just want to hold your body in during the atuocross and take it off during the street, i think its fine.
You'll hate the lap belt. They ride up on you when you tighten the shoulder straps. Also, the shoulder strap mounting point for a "Y" type harness should be directly behind the driver, not off to one side even a little bit. It's actually easier to mount twin shoulder straps. The harness + roll bar comments go without saying...
