I have been browsing this site for a little while, but am having trouble sifting through all the jargon. I don't know what generation my car is, 7th generation i suppose, but i would like to do some things to it.

Now, the first thing that came to mind was putting a turbo on it. I am trying to find out what kind of turbo I need, and what does f22 and h23 mean? are those engines or turbos?

How much would a decent turbo cost me, and what would i need to upgrade so that my parts won't break in the engine from the added boost.

I also have heard about aggressive cams, how much do they cost, and what kind would suit my car?

 

Yes, those are engine codes. You have a 7th gen with a 4 cyl so the engine is a K24. That should get you started on options for power.
