I recently got a 94 civic dx coupe, I have already got the whole tein suspension, the car is the opel green i beleive. now I need some input on what rims and tires i should get to compliment the color of the car, I have a 600 dollar budget for the rims. what do you guys think? (civic is stock, only suspension has been changed).

X2 with a $600 budget though, i can tell you you're going to be getting a set of Rota wheels, or some other oem wheel.

Unless you really like the look of one of those wheels, i'd suggest some blades or something.

actually if you can get your hands on a little more money go to http://www.discounttiredirect.com and search... they have some sexy wheels/tires there... they even have a deal if you buy rims/tires package they mount and balance em and fill em with air for ya and they come in about 4-5 days... its really nice they have great customer service as well.

rims/tires cost anywhere form 500-3000 for a package... mine was like 765 for rims/tires... so you should be alright.

 

i guess i will save a little bit more, ill check it out

I wouldn't. If you bought square wheels, that's instant 9 second quarter miles. Don't even need turbo or NOS.

some guy offered me some honda HX's for 225, with tires. now to figure out what color i should paint them, to paint, or not to paint? that is the question.

 

i wanted blades at 1st, but i cant find them, so im just looking around, and hoping for some good pointers. but everyone just keeps talking about wiping my ***, dont know why they would go there but its w.e. thanks for the input everyone

 

if you wants some damn rims im me i can hook you up with what ever you want good price and they will be from discount tire co.my brother is manager i got my 33x12.5x15 bfg mudders $612 all the way around incluing warranty. not sure what size but the were for my 17 inche rims i got kuhmo extas for 80 a piece with warrany!

 

GSR fat 5's baby !! all the way. best looking honda oem wheel in my opinion. or blades. search the marketplace. probably find some for a good price.

Unless they are mint, and I really mean mint, I wouldn't pay more then $200.

 

being honest, they not mint, they are in good condition but not mint, and one of the tires have a flat, but i can get tires, my uncle owns a tire shop. i should throw him an offer, i wonder how much HX's are at honda, probably too much.

 

buy my FAT Fives for 150 and use the rest of the money in your engine

 

not trying to sound like an *** or anything, but i would rather buy local, just becuase i have seen freinds of mine get screwed over online. not saying you would, unless you have a better way of getting them to me, i live all the way in mass. and if i where to buy them, do they come with tires?
