haha it's actually just paint. I used my left hand to hold some things away while i was spraying the engine bay.

I do ha ve bad aim with a hammer though ... i've busted my fingers plenty of times haha

Actually just totalled it last weekend

bought it back from insurance today, stripped it and junking it in the morning though

yea it sucks but it could have been worse so it's all good.

yea - i'm not nickel and diming everything off of it though. I really only took the big stuff from it.

I've got the full swap, the front end minus the core support, some small interior stuff and a full turbo kit. I'll post the link to the FS thread in here sometime in the next couple days once i get some pictures taken.

WOW!!! what happened?

 

ehh - caught a slick spot on the road on a ~30* rainy night coming home frome a buddy's at like 2am. My tires were awful on those blades, but i figured i'd ride it out until the sale, since different wheels/tires were going with it at that time.

Anyway, the back end slid out around the exit and i slid sideways into a light pole.

Obviously totaled, but i bought it back from insurance and parted it all out. So far on top of the check i got for the car itself, i made 5700 bucks and still have a few things left to sell.. AND i gave quite a few things away to my friends for always helping me out... so i can't complain. After it's all said and done, i'll be right around the 11,12k that I was originally asking when it was turbo'd.

It's just more of a pain in the *** than anything - i'm just glad i'm okay
