Gonna get the hatch painted tomorrow and all the dents knocked out.

Well, i dont know what the color is called, but the red on the 02 eclispe is hot, it's like a dark red that kinda changes color in different lighting....

 

audi a4 laser red..nuff said..

 

There is no website that post paint code colors is there?

nope, web colors are RGB and real colors dont come out right when displayed on the web, u either gotta buy a color book, or go to a shop

 

Just out of curiosity how much does paint cost -- I know it depends on the kind and quality -- so what range am I looking at??

Also where can you buy automobile paint?

 

its waaay to hard to determine the paint costs.. on average for a small car its like 300-700 for supplies.. paint, reducers, clears, etc.

There are a lot of places u can buy paint. I dunno if u have car quests or NAPA's out there, but here u can get PPG paint mixed for u right in the store

yes, if that particular Car Quest has the PPG paint, they wil have the PPG OEM paint code book, and be able to mix it up for you

I would go with the JDM ITR red or s2000 red-same color.

 

Same as the other colors, check out the new M3 red, if they can mix it. That looks good.

 

If your car is Milano Red then I would not stray too far from that with any Maroonish colors because the jams and underhood differences will be too obvious.

As for the "JDM ITR" red that is the same color as Milano Red.

As for the S2000 Red, that's New Formula Red if I'm not mistaken.

I'd go with the S2000 New Formula Red

 

yea go with Formula red thats the color i painted my CRX its such a bright red

 

Don't confuse Formula Red with NEW Formula Red.

2 different colors.

Formula Red was an old NSX color that has a lot of orange in it, while the newer version is a true nice red.

 

I gotta agree, new formula red is the way to go. keep your colour within the honda range

 

house of kolors makes a red flake to put in paint but it's supposedly real flashy
