Default Buying S2000 But Rear End Vibrates under Acceleration

Need help, i'm in process of buying an S2000 but when the car is over 4000rpm the rear end of the car starts vibrating and kind of wants to pull to the passenger side. under 4000rpm's it drives normal the tranny shifts perfect, only when under heavy acceleration it vibrates. ANY Suggestions.

yeah don't buy it....you're not obligated to, so go find an other one. easier to find one that doesn't need work then get yourself into something that may be more than you want to handle

It sounds like a extremely simple fix and also a very common problem with most s2000's. The cv cups need swapped from right to left. I can send you a DIY if you like. I will be doing it to my S this week.

CV joints are worn. Have the seller swap sides or replace. Don't buy it unless it's fixed, because it could also be hiding a shot diff.

I agree also. It may be the cv boots. I had the same problem.

make him switch the cv boots and see if it fixes the problem then decide.

Not the boots...the boots are just rubber.

It is the CV buckets that need to be swapped left to right or replaced.

And if you do this, you do not need spring spacers even if the car is lowered.
