hey guys, just wanted to share my results. the plan was to see how the stock si ecu would react to aftermarket cams. im thinking just w/ the hondata reflash, i'd net more on top and a bunch in the midrange. anyhow, let me know what u guys think.

haha. people are just gonna look at peak numbers

but yeah nice slant. you can still see the vtec dip..with the reflash it'lll eliminate that. and your a/f hopped down to 12? and then back to 13...you think the reflash will fix that? should be a straight 13 or right around there.

the reflash will not fix my richness there at all. im just happy that the a/f was good at vtec and above. yeah, im thinking the intake and exhaust really contributed to my richness at low rpms but i cant do anything about that unless there is a kpro like unit for the si's. with the reflash, im thinking 220ish and if there comes a kpro like unit, im thinking possibly 230ish. just estimates. what do u guys think about those piggyback units(apexi or greddy) for finer tune of the a/f?

there was a thread back about the piggy backs..some guy tried the apexi and even greddy...and it didn't turn out good at all. I think some guy threw a couple of rods.

thanks man, im just thinking maybe i should've gotten the stage two's being the ecu compensated so well. but then again, the stage two's are a lot more aggressive.

yeah, i had the apexi vafc on my old 95 civic before and it was ok but im thinking i might be better off going with the reflash for now, if not, then maybe wait for that kpro like unit that some are saying is supposed to be coming out for the si's.

yeah dude if i was you i'd get the reflash. some guy is having just about the same setup as yours. except he has the tsx cams. and he also has the reflash and i think is a/f is really good. but yeah if i was you i'd get the reflash for sure..cause they dont have no set date for the k pro to come out for our cars.

i think ur talking about xfactorwrx, yeah, he is doing some crazy stuff right now with diff. oem replacement air intake systems. he made some decent power with his tsx cams. i was considering these as well but somehow went for the skunks bc i found em for too good of a deal.

Why does it say the car is an 89' supra on your dyno sheets? Just curious, also what is the part number of the cams from skunk2? I didnt know they had cams out for the z3 yet.

the supra heading was from a previous dyno session before mine. the dyno guy was in a hurry and forgot to erase it. as for cams for the z3, original****ster is right on.

How do you know the skunk2 cams would have worked without having the ECU modified? Great numbers by the way!

Where did you get the cams...I got the reflash and have thought about cams but usually people say that you need to have tuning to do things right.

Thanks
