is this a good deal or not?
hello im new to this forum and theres a 01 Acura Integra Type R at my local dealership, their sellin it for $13,599 and the mile is 90k it's bone stock and the color is black, what do you guys think? is this a good deal or not?
hell yeah, if it's as clean as you say, on the private party it'd be worth that or more.
But I agree with the others, since it's at a dealership, use the NADA to your advantage. Also the mileage. Say things like, it's been raced hard for 90k miles. You need to adjust the price.
If they want the sell bad enough, they'll give it to you. Also, try to have the financing/cash in order BEFORE you go. That way, they know you have the means to pay for the car, and when you walk away, they are more likely to adjust to what you want.
They will say things like, "It's a rare car, someone will buy it for that price... yadda yadda..." but if they know that you already have the money, they'll want to move it. Then you can offer, say, low book, and then walk away when they say no, and they will come after you. (they are thinking, hey this guy already has the money)
No matter what they say, you know they only gave like 9 or less for it. They will still make a profit at 12k. Play hardball.
