my b16a is idling a LITTLE above 1k rpm..
is that bad?
and what causes it to idle that high.?

 

im guessing it idles like that always and not just warm up... could perhaps loose / mess with the throttle cable.. maybe it was put on too tight or what not.

depends how high its idling... i havent noticed nothing wrong.. mine idles at 1000-1500 rpm.. wen i had my singlecam it idled at 2000 at warm up that was a problem.. a month later my tranny went..if u see its idling over 1500 then thats a problem.
