trade or no trade that is the question??
Some guy want to trade his ls mesh wheels for my velox 17' rims. Should I? My rims are not curbed for **** so they are in minty condition. I only wanted to trade the rims for some that were smaller and had less spokes but idk. How much would i be losing if i trade? Does anyone know the price on these wheels? if so let me know

....and yes that is a ricer bumper, i wanna get rid of that **** too
here are his rims

after googling, those velox vx-k wheels go for about $200 a piece new. if he's selling his ls meshies for $250, i'd ask for another $100 or so, assuming they're in similar condition and because they're missing the centercaps. if he says no, give him $250 for his meshies if you really want them.
if your velox wheels are mint, you could probably get $400 for them (maybe more) with tires. put them on craigslist if you don't live in the boonies.

I would sell them but I have no other wheels to put the car on. Its my DD so I need my car. I don't really want to buy the rims I just needed an opinion to see if it was even worth it.
BTW thanks for the input and research

1. Check the FAQ for answers before you post a new topic.
2. Search! You'd be amazed how many things have been covered before. Be sure to try "Archived Topics" too. Try Google as well!
3. When asking a question please include all details that are necessary (car, wheel size, intended use, etc) for someone to make informed response.
4. Make meaningful thread titles so people can figure out what you're asking or talking about simply by reading it. I will rename threads.

5. No for sale ads or requests.
6. This is a technical forum, please keep it that way. I will be accepting picture request threads until the archive fills up.
6b. No opinion threads for wheels (e.g. "Which wheel will look better on my car?", "What color wheels should I get?")
7. Bump once and if you still don't get the info you're looking for just let it die.
