My rockers were super noisy.I pulled the valve cover off and 5 were barely on.I adjusted all the rockers so there was just a bit of play on each not that tight.When I started the motor they were dead quiet but it Idles like crap.I went around again and loosened them up a little more and still the same.Any ideas. When they were super loose it idled perfect but noisy as hell.

 

why don't u trying doing it correctly first and adjust your valves to specs.
