oil restrictor? where are you getting yours?
Same as title. Found one seller on ebay selling them but would like to order it from more of a secure site. Where have you guys been getting yours from?
ya, worse case scenario... i also heard using a .22 bullet casing and drilling a hole in it. But if possible, can I buy something? I'm not worried about spending a little money once in a while

go to http://www.mcmaster.com and search for part # 2712T44. That will bring up the page with the flow restrictors.

Best case a lot of times, but you know all about seting up oil lines anyway. You just need to spend lots of money and it will be the best.

Wow, way to be oh so helpful. It's a part less than $20. I don't know how you build your cars, but I'm capable of fessing up some money for ease of mind. If your not gonna be useful then why even bother replying? Oh, because you've got a small ego and your constantly looking for ways to boost it? Im sure you've built your cars the way you want, so and I'm sure it's up to standards that don't mean mine, so lets just do ourselves a favor and consider that this isn't your car, so I'd appreciate if you don't give me stupid advice, or in this case, none at all. K, thanks. I've been building this motor for the past year and a half, if I'm willing to spend money, then it shouldn't be a concern to you
.
To everyone else that's posted useful info and web sites to help, I appreciate it a lot. I will go thru each one and check out what they've got. Thank you.

If it's a 1/8" NPT fitting, there's no reason to go anywhere else than McMaster. Plus, you can get them in stainless. If it's a GT ball bearing turbo, you're limited to the brass ones that ATP sells.

-3 restrictors for only 8 shipped! Why pay the ridiculous 12+ shipping from ATP when you can support a honda-tech sponsor for much less with top notch support to back it.

if its a -3 or -4 stainless oil line with NPT fittings, then you can use brass nitrous jets from NOS or NX to reduce the oil pressure at the turbo. its cheap and effective.

True, but you must make sure that the jet is .035" for the diameter of the hole.

How do you know what size restrictor to use?
I have a gt28rs kit from afi that came with a res. it has been on since june, no probs, no oil consumption, no smoke at all from day one. All the sudden blowing smoke like a freight train and I'm a 1/2 a quart low after a 20 min drive. Compressor side is all full of oil. Any thoughts?

Wow, thanks for all the replies. Well I just got my new t3 super 60 in from garrett today. To my surprise I was looking at the feed line port and it's not threaded like my old turbo was, which means I need to buy that feed plate for it. Have any of you seen a feed plate with a built in oil restrictor by chance, or maybe know of where I can ordered a feed plate + oil line + restrictor combo? Turbo as I stated is a t3 super 60 and motor in a built sohc zc. Any input is greatly appreciated. Also, I'm hearing a .060 orifice is a good size to go for a journal bearing t3, true?
