hello HTers, lately when i launch my car (regularly) it makes a squeeling sound only upon launching, shifting into gears is not a problem...it makes the sound only when engaging in gear i don't know how else to describe the sound, maybe like chirping tires but more of a squeel/squeek, i dont know, thats the best i can do...what could this be?

 

Does this by anychance happen when the clutch pedal is depressed? Could be a throwout bearing.

well if its while the clutch is catching, your clutch may be slipping

 

you guys always know what to say to **** me off...haha, in that case b16 tranny be a good option for this motor? its a b18c1
