Ok this might sound dumb and all but i am a lude owner so cut me some slack

Ok i know The Type S comes in RSX and an Acura model but is there a such a thing as a Civic type S? I know of the type R Civic. Anywho there was a guy that clams to have one. I was looking at it had a vtec cover and d17 on the block. I was just curious if he just bought a type S badge and put it on there.It was like a 2002 model also. Thanks guys

Thats what i figured, I didnt wanna say anything in front of my friend. Cause he is his friend, i wanted to make sure before i opened my mouth And as for the D17 i saw that much on the block not sure what letter there was after it i forgot

I gave him a ride in mine, which he was amazed at the turbo. Then he offered to take me. Well i didnt hear vtec engauge, but it had a vtec cover on the head , he said something is wrong with it i dunno. Just wondering

 

It's a D17A2 . I know it comes in the 2001-2002 civic ex's. Maybe some others too.

 

That's some funny ****. I work @ a performance accessory/audio store in NY & I had a customer that drove a '95 Integra LS not with a type s badge but a V6 badge. I thought that was hilarious.
