its hard to say cuz they are two totaly diff. things. i had ITBs on my 96' spec type-r motor and they were fun and great for auto-x but there was no torque, but they were loud! and it make the motor sound insane, but insane isen't always good, and thats why i went turbo, just don't turn the boost up a ton and it will be fine, and for gas milage just don't step on it all the time, and it will drive like a normal car......

Yes, but a turbo provides way more torque and horsepower than I.T.B.'s, not to mention the hassle of getting everything in place.

itb's and a set of cams. it'll be fast enough.

if you boost it, all it'll do is tear the tires off until 4th gear. as fun as it sounds now, it'll get old fast.

you probably should do a little research if you think all you need is cams and itb's to be fast

i guess you think you need 600gajillion hp to be "fast"?

ever driven a honda with 250+ at the wheels? obviously not. anything more than that is unusable because all you'll do is burn out. what good is all that power if you can't put it to the pavement?

250 at the wheels in a 2200lb car is PLENTY fast bud.

250 all motor and 250 turbocharged is a huge difference...

They are both cool and you would be happy with either but im forced to x2. Going turbo is so much fun in so many different ways. One, you have great Hp and Tq increases while two looking awsome with the front mount (if you choose to go that route). And you can't forget blowing off! Plus chicks dig the TURBO!

I would just go with a small streetable turbo setup. 5-8lbs on a normal sized turbo would be plenty exciting.

itbs = way expensive for the dollar spent and you really need a lot of internal mods to make the itbs worthwhile. Itb's on a stock k20 isn't reall worth the $800-$2500 it costs to get itbs running.

Not to mention you really need a good set of cams to boot.

TUrbo in the long run will be a little cheaper I think. Either way the engine will still be reliable as long as your tuner is good. The k20 is one reliable motor.

each is to own man. its all a matter of what YOU want to do with your car and what type of setup you are wanting. ive driven an all motor eg hatch for a while with 200 at the wheels and its lots of fun. turbo is another kind of beast. its fun but after a while, like the guys said, melting your damn tires away gets old quick
