I have a 2000 Integra LS. Problem is that when I take it to go get the smog done, the idiot at the referee station says it can't maintain speed (15MPH and 25MPH). Does anyone know why this is or is this guy just a jack ***. The car drives just fine. Someone has told me it could be the TPS or a vacuum leak. But if its a vacuum leak, the car wouldnt idle and it does just fine. As for the TPS, wouldnt that throw a CEL. Any ideas would help.

 

I had the same problem too. For me, it was a bad O2 sensor. i changed them and when i went back it maintained the speed, but i failed still cuz of high HC and NOx. U might wanna change ur cat if it hasn't been changed in a while, i had to do that to mines so i can pass.
