Default Questions about gas mileage and my 89 civc dx hatch

I have a 1989 civic dx hatch with the standard d15 dpfi engine. My questions are if I switch over to mpfi will I see any change in fuel consumption? Also I am considering purchasing headers for the d15 but want to do a b16a swap in the future, are the headers interchangable? Any suggestions with ways to get more mpg would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

ya it will be worse on gas but not much its a honda. no the d15 header wont fit a b16. do a tune up for gas millage and proper air in your tires and drive slow.
