Help me decide, I need an upgrade
Here's the scenerio, i have a 97 gsr that's mildly built, bolts ons, and some motor mount prothane and ES inserts. My suspension needs work, but i don't even know where to begin. Its a DD but lately i've been wanting to hit the 1/4 more. So I need a setup that is still pretty comfortable for a DD but will give me a better launch at the track. Currently all i have are stock struts and some H&R sport springs. I was looking at getting some Skunk2 drag coils in the rear, but i'm not sure what spring rate will be best. I also want to maintain a decent height, don't wanna dump my car more than 1.5" or 1.75" at most. My budget right now is about $500, any advice as far as spring rates and brands, I was also reading up on the GC's but like I said, I don't know much about spring rates, and such.

Unfortunately you need stiffer springs in the rear for better drag launches, but stiffer springs in the rear will make the ride feel MUCH more harsh. Overall ride quality is affected more so by the rear spring rate than the front spring rate.
Why did you not address suspension before doing engine work? That's usually the best way to do it.

I started building the motor first cause I initially wanted a strictly drag car and a strictly DD. I have 2 integra, but my 2nd integra which was gonna be my drag car has recently been put on hold. So now i need to upgrade my suspension on my mildly build DD so i can take it to the track when i get the urge. I don't want nothing to extreme, just an upgrade from my basically stock suspension. Will i be okay with just running drag springs in the rear with stock springs in the front?
