I am ordering the swap tommorow. Just want any last minute pointers and hints so I can do it right since my brothers b16 crx swap just left my garage after a month due to poor planning (and 2 crossed wires )

95 GSR swap from (I hope) I.A.S. so it will be complete!
Going into a bone stock 92 VX with 110k miles.
Ordering a Greddy sp exhaust for a 92-95 hatch and AEM CAI for a 95 gsr.

Questions,
Axles from the gsr will work in vx hubs right?
Must add knock and 2nd o2 since 92 vx has vtec and (egr?)

Anything else I need to be concerned about or anything else I should be prepared to do? Thanks in advance!

Just did the swap last month on a 92 DX.
Everything bolts up (if ur Civic is a manual) and wiring is plug and play (if engine is obd1).

The only things you have to add is
1. Knock sensor
2. IAB.

The greddy exhaust will have to be extended (I have a greddy too) by 3-4 inches to the cat.

I know the exhaust will have to be worked on since I have the close coupled cat on the vx anyway.

Are the vx hubs the same as dx/si????? Come on guys! Quit flaming the kill fourm and help a guy out!

 

gsr axles will be fine, thats what you need.
