Default How do i give stock parts an anodized look?

There are Dupli colors that can make chrome surfaces have that anodized look.

I was wondering what can I do to make my lower control arms and a few of the other bars just as shiny. Is there a way I can sand it down or paint them?

Fully polish anything you want to use the paint on BEFORE you paint it.

I did my HX's in anodized blue, fully polished underneath...they were the ultimate bling.

How did you make anything stick to a polished surface? Paint needs something to bite to in order to hold on and not flake eventually. I've been working on mixing up colors to try and get that anodized finish. Just trying a few things at wrok with different base colors. Not quite there yet..
