50 series to 40series?
i was thinking of instead of replacing the stock 205/50/r15 tires for my 4th gen prelude, what if i went with 205/45 or 40 series?
my choices are to go 205/50/r15
/45/r15
any help is appreciated. im going for a thinner stiff sidewall look. also what about running 195/50/r15s?

That's the proper way to get a thinner sidewall. NOT by running tires that are too small for your car.
With 15" wheels on your car, stick with 205/55-15 tires. If you get 16" wheels, you can get 205/50-16 tires. You can also go to 17" wheels with 215/40-17 tires.

Yes, it will make your speedometer and odometer inaccurate. Stick with 205/55-15.
