1998 E39 5-Series, Kentucky
Located in Louisville, KY.
I've been toying with the idea of getting rid of my BMW E39 and getting something a little smaller that gets a little better gas mileage, as I drive about 100 miles/day.
Mainly looking at trades at the moment. Would be VERY interested in an EP3 (especially), a DC5, or a nice, relatively stock appearing EK or DC. Other trades will be considered, however, I promise I do not want your rusted out CRX with a B16 swap, so please be reasonable with the offers. Willing to add some cash for a nice trade, or accept a little cash for something worth a little less. Would sell outright for right at $10k.
1998 BMW 528ia
Automatic
Leather
105k
6-disc changer
M5 front bumper
M5 rear bumper
M5 rear spoiler
M5 fog lights
HID's
Sunroof
OEM BMW security system
-Window tint (has some scratches on the pass. side)
Sirius unit installed (can remain if buyer chooses)
Extremely comfortable car to drive. Obviously it has all the creature comforts (power everything, AC, etc...). I have observed 28mpg or so on the expressway, 20 or so around town. Definitely does not look like a 9 year old car, and for some reason turns heads more than my E46 coupe.
There are a few little things to point out with the car (it is almost 10 years old). The car has horrible cupholders
, probably the worst thing BMW ever designed. A couple little dings and scratches, although nothing horribly noticable. The headliner on the sunroof panel has come loose. Easy fix, however I have not gotten around to it. When I bought that car, it only came with one key (which has the built-in keyless entry). One crack in the woodgrain on the cover for the tape deck. Also, the wheels do not look quite as good as they do in the pictures.
If I can think of any more details I will post up. Any questions or trade offers can be posted here, or sent to me via PM or email. bmheck@gmail.com
Seriously people, please don't offer me CRX's/EF's/EG's/etc...
Don't mind the M badge or the Florida plate. Both are from the previous owner. Evidently he was a 40 year old ricer-at-heart.
