my buddy has a bone stock 92 accord lx and for some reason the acceleration will die. car is still on and all electrical still works. it's just the acceleration that dies. so the car eventually stops. what could be the problem. much thanks HT.

Sounds like a fuel filter problem. Have you checked the fuel pressure? Might be a pump also.

 

Well i searched fuel filter and most people state that their cars only bog. To as my friends car actually shuts down almost. Could it be the same thing? Or is it the Fuel Pump?

How do I check the fuel pressure? (noob question)
