Default Problem with the heating system, car blows in cold/warm air.

i have a 1990 honda accord and wenever i turn the heat up, it just blows in cold air which begins to warm up, but never really becomes hot, it remains pretty cold, although every now and then it's burning hot air, but very rarely... ne reasons why this could be happening??

I agree, I'd start with the thermostat. Sounds like it's stuck open.
