need a new starter but what starter is needed

 

I used the starter that was on my car and it worked fine. 90 civic si. I think a d-series starter from 88-91 will work.

 

we just did a zc swap on a friends hf and the we reused the hf starter. after one day the starter took a crap. i don't know if it is just a coincidence or not. i put a zc in my hf crx and used the stock starter, but the tranny was an si, so i would imagine that the starter was also an si.

 

yea mines a DOHC ZC with a jdm si tranny so i figured an si starter but i was just checkin before i went out and bought one
