Default sorry if this is a really stupid question

i have a civic ex 5 spd and i was just wondering if it is possible to change my transmission to a 6spd. if so, how? i have no idea why im trying to do this i was just curious. sorry if im being a noob...

oh its possible.

your just going to need a **** load of money.

i dont know if its going to beneficial much. i dont think a 6spd would fit the power comming from the engine. and it would probably hurt your gas mileage.

any reason why you want to do this? other than bragging rights?

Why didn't you get the Si? Was it not in your budget? Honestly you should have bought a used car and saved your cash to get what you want. I think his parents bought or cosigned.

How would adding an extra gear hurt fuel economy? At what RPM does the R18 cruise at traveling 65MPH? It would improve fuel economy. Having 6 gears will allow you to have the abilty to have closer gear ratios and maintain fuel economy.

Anyway just like Nighthawk said boat load of cash, that I'm willing to bet you don't have.
