If you drive aggressively on your s2k, these tires will go out under 6 months. 200 treadwears owns you on a rwd car. My buddy of mine just changed out his mx's recently.

The Kumho MX is similar in design to the Falken Azenis RT-615, with traction on dry pavement as its primary objective. But if you care only about dry traction in a street tire, you're probably better off getting the Azenis, since it's better at that (not just my opinion, but also that of most autocrossers as well as the testers at Grassroots Motorsports). If you also care about how long your tires last, and/or about how well they do in rain, then you're probably better off with the Kumho SPT, which doesn't grip as well on dry pavement but is still decent, does much better in rain, and lasts about 3 times as long (25-45K miles, vs 10-12K for the Azenis). But if you want something in between, a tire that lasts a little longer (15-20K) than the Azenis and does a little better in rain (not as well as the SPT, but better than the Azenis), then the MX might be a good choice for you.
