no heat after new water pump
Is there a key to bleeding out all the air that might be in the system? I let my car run for a good 15 minutes with the rad cap off but I'm still not getting hardly any heat.

Is the car heating up or taking longer then normal to do so? Thermostat is the most likely answer, secondly why leave the cap off? No need to do so, if anything you should crack it the first click and leave it on.

It only warms up to a little past 1/4 on the guage the will drop down.I let it idle with the cap off to see about getting the air outta the system. There is no first click on my cap.Once you press down and turn it its off.
