The MAX pressure should be printed on the sidewalls of your tires.
If the MAX pressure is 40 psi, I'd run anywhere from 34-37 psi, depending on weather.
Even tire pressure on all four corners is best for daily driving.

proper tire pressure is determined by a tire's load index which is the number before the speed rating ex: 95V. where V is the speed rating 95 being the load index. Unless the vehicle weight has changed dramatically from stock, it is best to run the oe recommended air pressure. If the new tires have the same load index as the oe tires, you should run the same pressure. I do believe your kumho's are equivelent in load index to the stock tires. You can always check the placard on the drivers door panel.

if you run 37 psi, you better be fat or have almost full capacity in tyour car... but as DTC recommends, run 32 psi

What air pressure should I use in my tires?
As a general rule, regardless of wheel or tire size or type, the best place to start is with the pressure recommended for your CAR, as shown in your owner's manual and on your car either on the door jamb or glove compartment door. Measure the pressure when the car has been sitting for several hours out of the sun, at the outside temperature at which the car will be used. Adjust from there in 2 psi increments as needed, based on tire wear and your preference for handling and/or ride comfort.
Do NOT set the pressure to the maximum pressure indicated on the sidewall of your tire.
