Hi,

I just ordered my Vibrant Stealth flat black muffler and now i need exhaust piping. Do local muffler shops carry 3" pipings for my EG hb? The only company i can find on HT is Kteller.com http://www.kteller.biz/product...D=168

They cost $260 for the pipings. Where else can i find 3" exhaust pipings for a good price?

I just got a full 3" catback from ebay for 180 shipped... full stainless, fitment was great. It bolts up to the stock cat, but you can easily cut the small flange off and you can chop the fart can off and weld your muffler on it. The only complaint i had was that the flanges were tig'd but they did not use filler. The welds were extremely under cut, but i just went over the inside of the flanges with my stick welder and 308l rod. Just incase...

Don't buy the kteller kit. Their customer service has gone to crap lately. Also, if you take it to a shop to weld up, it will cost the same as if you bought a complete exhaust. If you are going to weld it yourself, just get some bends and do it yourself for a lot less.

plus cheap low cost muffler shops that do "custom" exhuasts

they dont really care how crappy the welds are as long as it holds metal they think its cool

 

i had no problems at kteller. I love my system I went with the SS one.
