I did a quick search but came up empty. This question is for my friends s2k. On the 1-2 shift, he said its very hard (almost stuck) to get into 2nd gear and get out of...no grinds, and the other gears shift fine. I have no idea about s2k's but in the fwd world, sounds like a bent shift fork?

sounds like he needs to do a fluid change. i know when its cold out mine is hard to shift sometimes until it warms up. also check the clutch fluid because one time mine was low and it was hard as hell to go into gears

 

fluids checked, it happened all of a sudden.

has there been a weather change recently? it just got cold like 2 days ago here and mine has been giving me trouble too. was the tranny fluid changed or just checked?

 

just checked, its been cold here for a few weeks now, I'll get him to change the fluid anyways to rule it out.

 

Change fluid, then go from there.
