My Acura has a ticking sound by my Cam Sprokets!
My car has this ticking sound by my Cam Sprokets and tends to go away when the car get's warm. I had this for a couple of days and now my car when just idleling tends to want to turn off, it like boggles and my check engine light is now on. Any recommendations or help is appreciated.
A couple of other ideas are to check the play of the cam sprocket on the cam (Maybe the key is work and causing excessive play) and the cam timing marks (maybe it skipped a tooth). Skipping a tooth usually would make the engine not run at all, but it depends.

In my experience, the car will run if the timing belt is incorrectly set by a few degrees. It will lack power and run sluggish though.
