Improvements?
Ok well I just recently got my hands on a in decent shape '93 Prelude for a couple grand
The guy said he had hte engine rebuilt upper and lower about 3 months ago and his wife was makin him sell the car.
I have rims and low pro tires that fit and a body kit and a guy who will do paint for me so as far as all the visual stuff I have it already..
Now as far as whats under the hood. It is completely stock with the exception I installed new clutch cylinders bolth master and slave, a new clutch and flywheel
I had to put new cyclinderrs in because bolth the master and slave were leaking and that killed the clutch.
Now I am at base ground to where it runs fine and nothin seems wrong.
So now I guess onto what it is I am asking...
What should I do as far as improving the performance of the car... I am kind of low on cash for the next few months so.. All the cheap little mods that can be done with little money and effort are preforable..
It is the '93 Prelude with the F22a1 engine..
Thank in advance...

Atleast a front lip would be nice though. It makes the car look a little more agressive like the 5th gens.
but yeah, x2 to "don't put a body kit on it". Like I said, a small valance to bring the front end down would make it look more agressive.

Well the one thing that I always underrated when I had my Civic and was looking into parts was suspension. I have it on my 92 prelude now and it's the part that I am most happy with.
So my answer to your question would be to upgrade your suspension
Koni's or even just any type of coilover.
if not, just do some exaust, but dont go cheap like all these ricer kids around where i live and just buy the muffler.
buy the full cat-back system, and eventually headers.

Lol I know that the body kit is not for racin lol when I take my cars down to the tracks to race and test drive I take the kit off while its in my garage. The kit is simply for looks and car shows not racin or speed or to look aggresive.... Lol its just a bolt on that looks nice and and allows the proper install of underglow

Um wasn't refering to getting alot of power for nothin.. I was just asking what can be done as far as simple easy stuff that doesnt take much... For example removing the EGR.... It only needed for emission standards I just took the hose off and covered it up..

Thank You for being the only one here to answer what it was I asked
Ya and I forgot to list I already upgraded the suspension when I put the lowering kit on it.
As per the cat back system I was thinking I should wait off on that till I figure out what it is I am doin with my engine....
What exactly would the performance difference be between B16 w/ a Big Turbo or just keeping my F22 and putting a Big Turbo on it?
A few things I was thinking on were asides from the engine were
-Installing a cold air intake
-Upgrading the spark plugs
-Switching to synthetic oil
Lol anywho here is what my car looks like after I got it painted and everything finished installed and put everything on... well I guess not everythin cause my project next weekend is I am installing lambo doors and blue street glow and hoping to get started on the custom fiberglass dash and doors

Lol well see gettin money to do what I need to do really isn't the problem its just a matter of deciding on what it is I am going to do... I know the H22 was a flagship motor for honda but it has weak internals and will not take a turbo unless you replace the internals...
I had heard the B18's dont take boost very nicely and the B16's do...
So pretty much what would be the best setup givin the car...
How well do the K20's sport against the H22's?
I really have no idea which way to lean when it comes to what motor to get.. as per the best performance for everyday driving but capable of getting up and running if you want if you start to accelerate aggresively thats why I was lookin at a turbo setup... But maybe there is another setup I am not considering.. I just am not sure.....

I say k20 swap plus nitrous.
That seems like the most logical decision to me.
(If you can't tell, I'm being very sarcastic. You have a lot of learning to do. 1) K series and B series engines do not just "swap" into 4g preludes. 2) Being that you're low on cash, I'd look into starting a savings account instead of pissing money in to a 14 year old car. 3) If you insist on pouring all of your money into it, use the f22, you can throw forged pistons in there without sleeving, which will be better for your turbo plans)

Start with something simple first. Like removing the wing. Then go on to I/H/E.
Once you have that complete, upgrade the clutch, fly wheel and crank pulley. Im told that will be alot of fun.
Then after that, you can do the internals, and you will also want a tuning system somewhere in there.

Ricer stuff like this has been out of style and been laughed at for years now.

What 'hose' did you take off? There's more to disabling the EGR than taking off a hose.

A B16? WTF are you thinking?
CAI is OK...not much power. Just use OEM spark plugs, upgrading them does nothing. Synthetic oil is good, I'd suggest Mobil 1.

You are the definition of a ricer, that's not an insult or a flame. The pointless things you are sticking on your car only attract negative attention to you and offer no performance benefit.
I would read the Prelude FAQs before you do anything else to your poor Prelude.
