Default Looking For My old R, '97 Canadian Spec CW # 727

Wassup guys,

I'm a fellow R owner (00 FPB, 97 CW). It's been 2 years since I sold my R and I really miss her. I know I should've keep in close contact with the buyer, but I was afraid I could never let her go. Anyway, I just finished my new project ('93 RX-7) . It'll be featured in Turbo and Import Tuner pretty soon. I have this crazy idea for the photoshoot. If possible, I want to put the R in the background. I know it's probably a long shot, but I think it'll be "awesome" and I'm really curious to know if she's still in good hands.

Anyway, this is what she looked like when I sold her, please let me know if you've seen her recently. Thanks!!!!!!

Here's a sneak peak of the 7, enjoy!

That was one beautiful R you sold. I hope you find the current owner and get together for a photo shoot

and by the way, that RX-7 is wicked

I read your FS post from 04. says the date of sale was: "sold on December 17th 2004"

Did you write a bill of sale?
and was the car badge #727 or #458 like it says in your archived FS posts?

If you can find any old papers with the VIN that will help you pinpoint its area correct? Will a carfax include the current owner's name or any other helpful information?

Nope, carfax doesn't give you that info.

00TypeR1071,

Does my old link still exist? You're right, I think its #458 for the CW one. The #727 was the black one I belive.

Sorry guys, it's been so long I forgot the exact offset for my wheel. They came off of a RSX though. I think its +45 or +43...I had to roll my fenders

I sold it to some local guy and I dont think he visits this forum often. I remember him saying that he wants to put the K20 in. I hope he didn't

Offset is +38 (17x7.5) in black diamond finish...gotta roll your fenders tho

It was a local buyer here in San Gabriel Valley. I really have no other clues. Man, shame on me for not making any effort when I sold her.
