sounds like the needle's stuck, have you recently put white face gauges on or had the cluster apart for any other reason?

I have this same problem.... it's been broke for a couple of years, First the dealer told me it was the In tank sending unit... I replaced that with no luck....then they said it was the fuel gauage itself, I haven't got around to replacing this.... At first mine would go from full to 1/2 tank then get stuck now it just stays on empty. I'm skeptical on replacing the guage in fear that it may not be the problem.... so know I just go by the trip odometer to estimate about when I need to get gas.....how hard is it to pull the cluster and replace the guage?

I don't know. I actually haven't changed my guage yet.... It's been non functional for about 3 years now..... If you change your guage and it starts working let me know.... thanks....

I had the same problem. You don't have to change the whole cluster, just the temp/fuel part. Go to the junk yard and pull one. Otherwise it'll be like $90 through a Honda dealer. And that was with my friend's discount, since he works there. There's only a couple of screws that hold it in. Just make sure you don't move everything around too much and screw it up.

this might help a bit.... swapping the fuel / temp gauge is pretty simple, but finding the part for a decent price is pretty dificult. I had better luck finding an entire cluster on ebay.
If you don't have the factory tach in your cluster, I'll sell you my old one pretty cheap, but it might be a good time to swap in a cluster with a tach.
